Idesta acquires Ergofokus

The Idesta Group, through its subsidiary Wapeco AB, has signed an agreement to acquire all shares in L&d Ergofokus AB from the previous owner Björn Bok. The transfer will be carried out on March 12, 2025.

The acquisition strengthens the Idesta Group's presence in the catering market by including Ergofokus' unique range of ergonomic catering products. Since its inception almost 25 years ago, Ergofokus has built up a uniquely strong product range with a focus on ergonomics in order to help its customers achieve increased productivity. Ergofokus' customers are mainly found in catering, food and pharmaceutical industries in Sweden and abroad.

The acquisition strengthens the Idesta Group's offering to the catering market and we see synergies for both parties. Current companies in the Idesta Group and Ergofokus have partially overlapping customer groups and product ranges. Together, we can now offer an even stronger overall concept. The combination of Idesta's strengths in project deliveries with stainless steel interior design and transport trolleys together with Ergofokus' strengths from ceiling to floor with relieved tools and industry-adapted lifting trolleys. Through Ergofokus, the Idesta Group also gains a clearer presence in central Sweden, which constitutes a significant share of the Swedish catering market.

Björn Bok will continue as CEO and salesperson at Ergofokus and the business will continue to be run in its own separate company. All customer and supplier relationships will remain unchanged. We hope that our successful relationships with customers and suppliers will continue and be further strengthened under the new management.
